BOYI customized 930KW Copper Tube V-type Dry Cooler with Wet Curtain for Data Centers in Dubai
This customized 6 Rows 54 Holes 10350mmL V-type Dry Cooler with 18 AC Kemao 910mm Fans is provided for Data Centers in Dubai.
The core construction uses 5/8" Ø15.88*0.41mm Copper Tubes and 0.115mm Hydrophilic Corrugated Aluminum Fins (FPI 2.1mm). Additionally, the Frames are manufactured out of 3.0mm thick Painted Steel Plate, the mounting brackets and wind panels are constructed using 3.0mm thick outdoor Painted Steel Plate.
The Function of Wet Curtains in Dry Coolers:
In a dry cooling system, the wet curtain (also known as an evaporative cooling pad) mainly serves the following key purposes:
1. Evaporative Cooling Enhancement:
When ambient temperature is high, water evenly distributes over the porous wet curtain surface. As air passes through, water evaporates and absorbs large amounts of sensible heat, significantly lowering the inlet air temperature of the dry cooler. This improves cooling efficiency and reduces the outlet temperature of the cooling medium.
2. Auxiliary Heat Dissipation:
It acts as an auxiliary cooling component for dry coolers, especially in high-temperature environments where natural air cooling alone is insufficient. The evaporative effect compensates for insufficient heat dissipation capacity, ensuring stable operation of the cooling system.
3. Energy Conservation:
By combining evaporative cooling with air cooling, the system reduces reliance on high-power mechanical refrigeration. It lowers fan and compressor energy consumption, achieving energy-efficient cooling under partial load conditions.
4. Humidification and Airflow Regulation:
The wet curtain humidifies the incoming air, optimizes airflow distribution, and reduces dust accumulation on heat exchange surfaces. This helps maintain heat transfer performance and extends the service life of the dry cooler.
